DEVILED
EGGS
(Phase 1 Friendly!)
Prep Time:15-20 min Cook Time: 20 min Serving Size: 1 whole egg
(2 halves) Yields: 6 (12
halves)
INGREDIENTS:
6 hard-boiled eggs,
sliced in half (lengthwise & separated…keep 4 of the egg yolks and toss the
other two)
2-3 Tablespoons WF
Pomegranate or Regular Mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon Mustard of
your choosing (0 carb,0 fat, 0 sugar calories)
Real Salt & Pepper
to taste
1 teaspoon Dill Pickle
Relish
Paprika for Garnish;
sprig of parsley for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1) Boil the eggs, place
in cold water until cold
2) Remove shells and cut
in half, lengthwise
3) Place 4 of the egg
yolks in a bowl and toss the other egg yolks
4) Add 2 Tablespoons
Walden Farms Mayonnaise, ½ teaspoon mustard and mash together with egg yolks
5) Add Dill Pickle
Relish (no more than 1 teaspoon), salt & pepper to taste.
6) If necessary, add
water for proper consistency
7) Fill egg white halves
with egg yolk filling
8) Sprinkle with Paprika
and add Parsley leaf for Garnish
9) Refrigerate
until ready to serve
These Deviled Eggs can
keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
*Not enough protein to
adjust your daily protein intake during Phase 1.
This would be a good snack any day!
