Waffles (or Pancakes)


WAFFLES (or PANCAKES)
(Phase 1 Recipe)


Prep time:   3-5 min        Cook time:  4+ min        Serving SizeEntire recipe       Yields:  1 serving                

INGREDIENTS:


1 Packet IP Vanilla Pudding mix (any flavor)
1 Egg (or 2 Egg Whites)
2 oz Water (more or less depending on desired batter consistency)
¼ tsp Baking Powder
Salt
Olive Oil Spray


DIRECTIONS:
1)    Beat egg and water until mixed.
2)    Add salt and baking power.
3)    Stir in IP pudding packet. Mix will be thick and may have some small lumps.
4)    Pour into greased waffle iron or make three small pancakes.
5)    Finally top with your favorite WF product


Recipe Options:
1)    Add a few drops/packet of flavored Stevia/Splenda, etc.
2)    For pancakes:  Add more water
3)    Add spices of your choice: cinnamon, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, etc.
4)    Top with Walden Farms topping: Pancake Syrup, Blueberry Syrup, Chocolate Syrup etc.

Phase 1 serving: 1 unrestricted protein…If using the whole egg, subtract 1.5-2 ounces of protein from your daily 8oz. or consult your Coach



Note:  When cooking this recipe, be sure to cook longer than usual or the center may be too moist.  This applies to both the waffle and the pancake.
